Andrew Pettit of the Sacramento Police Department, a load of metal pipes came loose and fell off the train causing it to derail and block the track.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Several rail cars were transporting hazardous materials so a Hazmat team had to be called in to check for spills. Some of the cars were carrying hydrochloric acid and liquid propane.<\/p>\n<p>Hazmat personnel from the local fire department were able to clear up the situation by 7:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The accident caused power to be knocked out in the area and sent several large pipes into a ditch.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, no evacuations had to be ordered, there were no injuries reported and no railroad workers were hurt in the mishap.<\/p>\n<p>Union Pacific Railroad was able to clean up the scene of the accident and by Sunday morning was able to take care of the blockage.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a title=\"FELA lawyer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gordon-elias.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">FELA Lawyer<\/a> News Blog is a FELA, train accident and personal injury blog that    publishes up to date train accidents and FELA legal news from across the    United States.
